Camp Mon O’Kel Cottages are located on the north shore of Newboro Lake in the heart of the beautiful and historic Rideau waterway. It is situated on 140 acres of natural woodlands with over 3000 feet of shoreline. There are 6 one bedroom and 1 two bedroom attached housekeeping cottages overlooking the lake.

Camp Mon O’Kel Cottages was founded in 1958. The O’Hara family has owned and operated it for over 50 years. Camp Mon O’Kel Cottages have been a popular destination for many families. In addition to fishing, vacationing guests enjoy the quiet beauty and wildlife of the lake, boating on the historic and scenic Rideau Canal – a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, swimming, canoing, kayaking and hiking on nearby trails.

Newboro Lake is popular with fishermen. Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike are the favorite catches.
